Description of Student's Research
My research interests include the interaction between social and economic behavior, and how humans deal with complexity. I am currently assisting in experimental studies of reciprocal behavior, the effect of communication on collective action, and the effect of social context on trust. I am also in the process of designing an experiment to study the process by which individuals learn in situations where optimal strategies are impossible or very difficult to calculate- such as in chess.
